I see now that first one is the problem child. The other's seem available.

Is RMATV a Yamaha dealer? Last time I needed parts, I went to the dealer and they didn't have them but looked up every dealer in the US and told me the inventory availability of every Yamaha dealer in the US. I can check locally here and see if they have one. They don't open for 40 more minutes. I'll check then and report back. If I can find it locally, I'll go get it and ship it to you.

Josh - just called the local dealer (Macomb Powersports), no clutch plates in stock (shocker)... There are a few other Yammy shops in Detroit I can call if you strike out online.
Cav47 wrote: Wed Jun 17, 2020 9:00 am Parts Shark says they do not have any.

Waiting for someone to return my call from PartZilla.

And waiting for RMATV to open in a minute.

All of the places do not seem to have them in stock. It ain’t looking good.

Partzilla, boats.net, and several others are one company located in Georgia. If they have the parts, I’ll pick them up and we’ll go from there.

Didn't someone earlier in the thread say they had their old plates? How viable of a backup plan is that right now? I looked but it's a lot of skimming trying to find it.

Cav, I really hope this works out for you. Kudos to others helping.
Josh, you are one of the good guys and were really there for me when I was down hard and came through in the clutch.

That was me and unfortunately I looked and it's not the plates I have, I have all the other parts from swapping to the slipper clutch.

Dreyer is saying they have 2 of the

PLATE, FRICTION 2
Part #131204001342
Mfg. #4XV-16331-00-00

Just like Festus says. Parts guy is going to put a hand on it now. Asked him if he has the other 3 of the ones I need. He said NOPE.

Damn, we are close to getting all the parts.

If you don't find them all, let me know, I'm working 7 days a week for 2 more weeks or so, so I'll pull mine apart and send you what you need to get by. My bike will be sitting for at least 2 more weeks anyway.

Edit to note that FJRoss was posting while I was typing.

Item #4. The drawing is a clickable link.

Isn't #4 part of the (activation piston that runs horizontally out of the master cyl? Unless they are the same part but not called out in the lever assembly, it looks like they don't call that bush out specifically. I would be tempted to take the good one in (from the other lever) and compare it to what a multi-brand shop has in stock.

I phrased it that way because I don't know so formed it as a question.

THERE'S your problem! You got finger prints all over it., uhDOY!

As for GETTING your parts... EVERYONE (even the megamarts) are having a horrible time with doping out the delivery delays from shipping companies concerned about the safety of their drivers in some areas. Sadly many of the transportation hubs are co-located in cities with the highest unrest (but that's a function of centrally-located, high-density populations centers). The seller can spec out fast delivery only to see times slip by weeks.

Marty,
Don't put the pressure on him...he's under the gun already. Competing head to head against gixxerjasen's kid might just make him explode.

Once we get past knowing he's got all the parts covered, can we discuss how the hell that smoked clutch happened? That is really hard to believe.

Well, we can safely start with the assumption that it was due to operator error(s).....

I'm pretty sure I won't be putting any more Rotella T6 in my '15ES for starters. My bushing is clean and lubed. I don't keep the clutch lever covered when riding. But don'tcha know, I'm looking for an excuse to put in the '16+ slipper clutch. Unlike my '04 I have slid the '15ES rear wheel many times during sharp decel in low gears. It's exciting when leaned over in a corner :o
