Re: The Official 2019 Calendar Contest
I'd fight back on that one if I didn't have to look at a photo of my bike to remember what it looks like.DesignFlaw06 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 3:58 pmI suppose having a'13 does start you off at a handicap.
I think it's rained every single weekend this year. That and work have kept me off the bike all year. Last year I probably rode 12,000 miles. This year, 1,200 probably. Such a disappointing riding year, especially when I said I was going to ride more this year than last year.
....and while we're poking fun...., what's with it being 16 entries above the #12 slot? Is this calendar going to have 16 months?

You have been busy this year...
DesignFlaw could poke it right back.
Remember where DF made it so we would have TWO chances to win, but only ONE would count? Well, the bolded entries are the top entry for that participant...the one that counts. DF has designed an algorithm to take all that into consideration.
Kudos to DesignFlaw for doing all that work.

Will there be a Mayan Calendar available? I hear that's the preferred calendar in South Carolina..
I’d be more than happy to swear under oath that having watched you ride for many, many miles, there is no way in hell you could be speeding through those curves. -0face

Re: The Official 2019 Calendar Contest
I'm going to have to put something else in the rules that says pictures submitted are still subject to my discretion. You guys are sick enough to submit pictures that I can't put on my office wall and sick enough to vote it to the top. I don't need to answer "What's that old guy doing to those sheep" every day at work.
At this point, we have 36 images submitted. That's 15 more than last year. To deal with the additional images and still keep things organized, I've made the following improvements.
Now someone has to explain why jwilly has at least 4 more votes than every other picture.

- Added a total image count
- Anything lower than #12 is hidden to start. The Show More button will reveal the rest of the list
- Each name on the rankings list can be clicked. It will take you to that image below
- There's now a button that toggles between displaying all the images and then just the ones you haven't voted on
Now someone has to explain why jwilly has at least 4 more votes than every other picture.

So...that must explain why FOUR people signed on to vote for your photo...and your photo ONLY before signing off, not to return.
In my world that's called an anomaly. Are you sure you don't live in FLORIDA?

I'm off the chart. Not surprised at all. I didn't get the shots I hoped for and quite frankly, it's going to take much better than I got to make it this year.
