MCL/Blackpath bar risers

Post by CollingsBob »

A small downside to fitting a RDL seat is a slightly greater lean to the bars. I’m considering bar risers...Do either the MCL or Blackpath risers necessitate extensions to the clutch or brake lines?

MCL if you can find some don't need any extensions, just install and ride.

I used Genmar 1" for yrs & yrs, no mod of anything else required. I'm now using the old HeliBars replacement pullback top plate and the Genmar 1"- no modification of any hoses required other than re-routing on the right side. By "re-routing" no disconnection of any hoses or wiring, just push them to the inside towards the steering stem.

If I had known you were considering risers, you could have tried my Genmar risers out with your seat on my bike when I was there. No extensions needed if a 1" rise is enough for you.
