Tech day interest in NV?

I am considering organizing a tech day with a base in Pahrump, NV. We are close to Lost Wages, Hoover Dam, Death Valley, and the Grand Canyon for those that would like to make it a ride in the area.

Thoughts? I have quite a few tools and I can receive shipments for folks. Timing: I am thinking sometime in April or May before the heat is too much for our northern friends.

I enjoy meeting everyone, learning more about the bike(s), and sharing what I know as well. In addition to what I wrote in the original post, I know the local Kawasaki dealer very well for good pricing on tires, especially if I let them know it would be part of a tech day. We also have Front Sight out here just minutes away if folks want to take a class our there (and I can make memberships there happen!).

I commend your effort. Not sure there are many FJR owners in your area that are on the forums but take a look in this and the FJRForum for intell on gatherings. There will be one in Paso Robles in May, Tyler's Yosemite gathering (YFO) in September and Ray's Ruben run in Oregon.
Then of course there is CFO, EOM and so on for the midwest, east and southeast. These are the best ways to get to know some of the folks who hang out here.
Not everyone still rides an FJR ( I went to the wing after Bambi killed my 04) but it's really about getting together to share our enjoyment for 2 wheels and tell lies in the evening. Quite a few of the best people I have met in the past 10 years belong to these forums.

I would welcome all bikes to a tech day. There are lots of dirt and adventure bikes riding the area for the mountains and Death Valley and then Wings, FJR's, ST's, and more can really enjoy the endless miles of road and desert scenery.

Did I mention we have not one, but TWO wineries in town?
