HOLY CRAP...I'm here...and I don't even have an FJR!

Post by sportsguy »

Right.....

So........

How are ya'll......?

:D

OK, so I'm here now, too. Same sportsguy (duane) from other forums, but with a new twist. ;)

I traded my FJR on a Super Tenere...so please don't stone me with tomatoes!

Realized after a while that every time I rode the FJR, I saw gravel roads I really wished I could explore (safely, rationally). Wasn't keen on the FJR in the dirt.

Thus the most amazing bike of my life to date was traded in on a brand hammer new 2012 Super Tenere. Which is rapidly on it's way to becoming THE most amazing bike I've ever owned... :D

Interestingly, I know the new owner of my old FJR - which was at the dealer less than a week. Be nice to keep her in site every now and again.

In any event, as a back up, I still have my KTM 690 Enduro R so if the dirt gets real, and wants to put up a fight, I've got the right tool for THAT job all wrapped in orange, black and knobbies. :)

Here in Washington we are too stoned to stone you with anything. Hell I am stoned and don't even smoke the stuff, after all around here stoned is a state of mind not an drug induced state. This is Washington after all.

We are so stoned in Washington we might not even notice you are not riding an FJR. And if we did we would not care. Got some pizza man?

Welcome to the FJRiders forum where tomfoolery is encouraged not discouraged.
Searching for roads paved with Asphalt, unless I am riding the mighty DR650 bushpig.

Oh yeah, I'll teach 'em a thing or two!

I'll have 'em low siding on grassy knolls and high siding in powdered sand in no time!

No trouble to teach them all kinds of useless stuff!

They'll start as pussies and leave as wussies, I can assure you!

Welcome Duane - With as many times I've hammered my FJR on Jeff-Ashe-goat-trails, Jim keeps telling me I need to take a serious look at the S10. But ya know, the FJR is pretty gosh darn amazing off road once you through some Ohlins at it...
