Yea, no one wants the same photo in the calendar two years in a row, especially one featuring any bit of Redfish.

All BS aside, and with total deference to my friend, that is truly a once in a lifetime picture. The light is right, the road is right, the subject is right, the canvas is right, it's got depth of field, and it's got a red FJR. I've got a VERY few like this, and I can conservatively estimate that I've got 100,000 pictures of motorcycle riding in my repertoire.

If you looked at that picture for the first time, and DIDN"T think "Man - I sure would like to ride there", then check your pulse carefully.

Although that is a very nice crop...it is not a better picture. And I know you agree with me and are just teasing our good buddy.

The picture you have shown is not the whole picture. The picture shows the mountain and the man, but it does not show the father-son trip of a lifetime. His does, and in his...we get the view of 'Fish's dad from Redfish's point of view.

The mountains and bike and the man are there in your crop...but Redfish's tells the whole story...and the reason it was voted #1.

I agree that cropping out RFH does not improve the picture although I would likely never tell him that.

With the submission deadline imminently approaching, it would appear that we have our final 12. Let me be the first to congratulate the winners. We have one fine 2019 calendar, no doubt.

Edit/publish on, Sir Tim. I've got credit card in hand, ready and awaiting your command...

Thanks to everyone who participated and voted. There was a fight for the #1 spot and a fight for the #12 spot for sure. Those changed a couple times over the last week. It was rather interesting. I think we will have a nice looking calendar. It'll take me a couple days to get the artwork finalized. I'll get the calendars up for sale as soon as possible. Congratulations to the winners.

Thanks NTXFJR but credit must be given to great weather & fellow riders Cav47 & ON2 for making this trip a truly memorable one. Ironically Josh's photos were taken on the same trip :D

Gotta admit that I think those two pics were better than mine. Good thing the ranking system didn’t split hairs.

So cool that these pictures will live on forever in both our minds and in print now.

I don’t care what month I get as long as it is not a summer month because I keep the calendar at school and I am not in my classroom that much. So no June, July, or August. Anything else will do just fine. Let others pick.

Like Pants said, PayPal in hand for sure! Between these and the Keychains, I am really excited about my FJR Christmas.

Thanks again

BTW, I think this was the best shot of the trip, but the picture just did not mean as much to me as the other one did.

I'm kind of surprised my photo made the final cut. Honestly, the pie was worth it. There were a few other personal things that day as well, but this is cool. On the other side though, now I'm motivated to try to get more saddle time this coming year to maybe put up something better.
