As cool as that blue looks in the sun...it looks even cooler in the shade. BTW Hud, you still need to see it in person to appreciate it.

As a person who deals with helmet color finishes all the time, I have never been much of a fan of the Matte finishes on helmets. They just do not "pop" for the look kids want today. However, I gotta admit, I really like the unique color and finish on yours. Looks great in both sun and shade.

Anyway, how about getting that top box taken care of, it looks like trash compared to the bike. Jeez can you get coordinated please. You have had the bike for at least a week now.

I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!

Uncle Hud wrote: Fri Nov 16, 2018 2:44 pm I've put off reading this because I find the 2018 paint scheme very attractive. Even with 72,000 miles on my 2015, I do not want a new FJR or a new FJR payment.

Sorry to hear that you think the 2018 is also a better motorcycle. That just makes it all the harder to resist.
Maybe it's because I used to live in Marietta, GA but Hud and I are exactly on the same page.

A fair weather rider at work has a new 2018 FJR that I have to walk by everyday when I leave work to get on my grungy 136,000 mile 2007. The frugal side of me finds it hard to justify buying a new motorcycle when the one I have still works great and is paid for. But wait, I'm retiring on December 13th and will need to buy myself a retirement gift. Am I a master of justification, or what?

Wasn't Tommy848 on one when we stopped in Seneca (NC) for chow? I'm really sure he was, because I thought the paint job looked AMAZING, like the bike has some internal glow. And a matching Shoei Neotec? Hubba, Hubba!

I just don't want a new bike and new bike payment. ( <--- My mantra)

Besides, within a week, I'd scrape that gorgeous finish all to hell.

Yes, Tommy848 was riding that Psycho Blue FJR all damn day...INCLUDING when we stopped in Saluda, NC.

And you are correct...that Psycho Blue is mesmerizing.

Someone has one for sale that they've only ridden 300 miles in on a local forum. When I saw the picture all I could think of was "FJR flat blue" and that Lumberg needs this!

You gaggle of whores. I am only barely able to resist your pressure to perpetrate a neotec II in blue. Probably not a close match anyway... If Hud buys a bike, I’ll buy the neotec II in blue, XL, thank you.
