I wouldn't worry about it too much. As the weather warms just ride some and do the "normal stuff": fluid changes, clean-n-lubes, etc. Don't forget to lube the throttle cables. And take a look under the seats and up under side covers and find the wasp nest. Please DAMHIK.

Well, I was hoping others would suggest items to check. Since my FJR has never been "hibernated", I can't really add anything of value. (So I just added a comment that's not valuable .... like I do all the time.)

Mice like to take up residence in the air filter, so better pull it and check. Good time to replace it or at least blow it out.
I have a picture of my air filter filled with mouse poison pellets that Mickey stashed there for later consumption. I'm guessing he sampled the wares I left out for him and never made it back to collect his stash. :D

along with looking under the tank (and elsewhere) for chewed wires..... clean 'er up, fresh fuel, battery charged, go for a shakedown ride, flush and bleed clutch and brakes (activate ABS via a jumper), check tar pressures.
Keep yer stick on the ice........... (Red Green)
Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can sure muffle the sound.

The bike spent the winter outside, was the fuel tank completely full? Condensation is exacerbated when the fuel tank is only partly full. Moist air is sucked into the tank each time the temperature cycles, the moisture condenses in the tank and eventually settles to the bottom. At a minimum you need to run a bottle of HEAT through the tank, and, if it were mine I would drain the tank and refill before starting the bike.

This.

I have to rewire the accessories on the ass end of my bike (Givi lights, Whelan brake strobe) because some of those little fuckTards decided to make a meal out of mine over the period of one week last year. I was lucky, I remember going down the highway and thinking the truck in front of me had something on fire.. turns out it was under MY ASS!

Went to wash the bike, took the seat off, and then I saw the nest with 3 of those little pink bastards. I turned them into crow sushi.
