@escapefjrtist...good advice, thanks.. I too have a time crunch, with almost the whole month of May away from the bike. Hopefully I’ll be able to get on the bike by the 15th of April...get a few rides in to evaluate the seat & windshield height...order as necessary for delivery last week of May, install...2 1/2 weeks of test riding, then off to Nakusp..

I would ride the bike for a season to see whether in fact anything at all is needed. One or two rides wouldn't be enough for me.

I have these, their heavy as f@$k and, they double as helmet locks, when I bouth my first FJR it came with these, and, a chrome stud that screwed into the light switch mirror mount. I'd be lost without my cruiser helmet stud dealie. I use it every ride to hang my helmet on. The bar ends locks I use when were gonna be away from the bike for a while.
