Need help immediately identifying a new prototype tire!!

Post by Cav47 »

Had an amazing time today running the fantastic Tri-State area of Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We saw this tire on an exquisite machine riden by an Exquisite pilot. What a great time!

It ain't worn out yet. There's 200 miles or so left AFTER the steel cords show. If ya need more, wrap it with duct tape.

And it wasn't worn out. After that photo, we headed down 107, up 28, west on Warwoman...then after the goodbyes, it was east on Warwoman, south on 28, then easy highway roads for 45 minutes. I said this tire was good for a day, and it was...no steel cords showing or nuttin. Good gripping takeoff that was good for a few day rides.

It's never a bad day if you have to ride Warwoman 4 times.

The boys can tell you it gripped well...and yeah, I must ride like a Harley rider.

Wheatie did ride smooth and fast on that prototype! It was awesome watching him and Pants in front of me on those great roads. Those kind of roads are so much more challenging than anything around. They seem endless as well. Just string about 4 together and you can burn a whole tank of gas. Thanks again for showing us around.

No option for "Texas tire?" Cuz, I'm with Wheatie for a change, that tire still has quite a few commutes left in it.

Good catch.
Replace at the wear bar? Those are "Time to order a tire bars." You wait till you see the "Wear line" that's usually a white line down the middle of the tire indicated by exposed cords. THEN, it's time to dig out the tire changer. :D

I'm appalled anyone would ride that tire on the street.

Oh wait, it was Wheatie? Never mind.
