New/Old Member. Again.

Post by sacramentomike »

Thought I'd just say hello here, although I've been a member for some time, but I've been spening most of my computer time at the other forum and pretty much stopped coming by here. Looks like the big migration is heading this way now though, so it's switch or get left behind. What I see now though is that this place has grown a lot in terms of activity, and I see a lot of familiar names that I wasn't much seeing at all back there.

It may take a while to find my way around here, but hey, I'm willing. Got to have SOMEPLACE to get my daily fix, especially since the bike is still at the shop after two weeks plus. And right at the best time of year for riding around here. :( So guess I'll be seeing you all more here and less there.

Still a few, Mark. But not too many yet. We'll see if we can have a little gathering to meet you next May. And Hud, make sure we know when you're coming this way, too. Heading up to Nakusp after a Cali side trip? There must be a couple roads you didn't see yet.

And that two weeks (so far) in the shop is about me trying to ride an FJR like Shawn White rides a snowboard, George. In the snow! Don't ask.

Ok I won't ask until I see you but I can relate, bikes and snow just don't play well together. :o

You've got an awful lot of posts for a newbie! I've also been an equal opportunity FJR forum visitor, but I guess I just don't post as much as some. ;) I didn't even know the other forum was in dire straits. Last time I checked in before life got crazy busy, it was just a hard drive failing. I guess I need to go see if it's still running......

Yeah Mr. Mike, you really should hang out with us here some more. Nobody ever seems to get upset in this playground even though the worst of the alleged trouble makers live here. We have at least three "banned" members here and we love 'em. (No Bust, not THAT kind of Love!)

I am glad to see you posting here again.
