Hello ALL. See quite a few familiar names, but here goes...
I'm in Northern California (despite the forum name, in Loomis now)
My '05 has a little over 100K on the clock and still makes me happy

Welcome Patrick... I remember some great rides with you.... If I recall correctly, weren't you the one that showed Old Michael the short cut off La Porte Road? Rich

Yes, John, you are correct. The weekend before last, we had a great ride up out of Jackson, over Monitor, et al, and down and over Sonora. It's shocking how little snow there is up there.
Gonna be a long, smokey, summer in the forests of California. I WILL call you next time we do one of these. Bokerfork and RsvlFeej ride like criminals, and you'd really enjoy one of our excursions.
BTW, Patrick (a long-time Avon devotee) is now a Michelin man, I think. I'm waiting for his review.

Thanks for the welcome, everybody. :D

SacMike, I don't mind squid status, looks like we get to enjoy some of the same people here as before AND I'll get to meet other noobs too.

I was in the vicinity...about as close as I was to CAJW's neck of the woods a couple of weekends ago ( :( sorry, John). Dr. Rich, when you come visit from your island in the northwet, I'll definitely be up for a reprise ride.

OM, As to the Michelins, I must admit the PR3s held up quite nicely to some fairly harsh treatment without the feel of impending doom/skittishness I came to expect from my one (and ONLY) set of PR2s. Still early - gotta see how they handle when the wear bars get obvious, but they sure feel good right now (can you say 'kool-aid'?). And thanks for setting up a great ride - wonderful to shake the dust off after a year of weekends in the trenches instead of the twisties.

Hi Mz. Tyler!,

Been awhile. Need to chase you and Clifford around one of these days.

OM does still ride... on select occasions... when the moon is in phase... and he can slip the leash(es)... - fortunately, Mark and I were also caught in the undertow on this last favorable tide. OM even mentioned a RR, but I think the 2 pics earlier in this thread is gonna be it (see 'leashes' in 1st line). Running with those two reprobates on some damned fine roads in perfect weather made for a stellar day.

Regarding OM and Ride Reports....I don't think he carries any film in his cameras anymore.

He just pulls them out now and again to measure the lenses.

BTW, Thanks for classin' up the joint Patrick.
