Seeing Steve diligently finding solutions to Jolene's issues, gives me some solace. I will follow along, with great interest, as he brings a quality life back into her. For those of you, who are able to help him with this project, thank you.
Jolene has blood flowing through her veins tonight Error codes gone, started first try! Sounded fantastic.
Now the story starts.

To my knowledge, you would be the first person on the forum(s) that tears down a Gen III motor. If not too burdensome, taking pictures along the way would be of great benefit to many others, I'm sure. Might benefit you too, for remembrance on the re-assembly.
If it's only the 1-2 shiftfork, and you get it back together right, you are going to be sitting pretty!!!

Pretty sure Steve knows what he's doing.... got to split the cases, and while he's got it down that far, he should put in the two new gears that have the worn dogs as well as the shift fork.....
