Oface,

I would bet that one of these guys (linked below) will be able to supply a new connector for you.
http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec_ ... ctors.html
http://www.cycleterminal.com/index.html
http://vintageconnections.com/
http://www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/connectors.html
http://www.electrosport.com/accessories ... iring.html

I think that the part it connects to is going to be a dealer item. For connectors, Eastern Beaver is a good place to start.
Cheers,

Wayne has one I'm gonna get. But the part number or whatever might be useful for future reference for somebody.

Ok, so we gotta know how this thing got mangled. I mean, it really is simple to remove, someone didn't use tools did they? To remove you simply press the tab. Then you press harder. Then you apply a minimum of three curse words. Press your finger till it bleeds, the blood will loosen any dirt and lubricate the tab lock mechanism. Then apply sixteen more curse words and pull hard and it should easily slide right off. Please tell me you didn't use tools.

Probably not the Linda Evangelista model ....

(Now Hud, how is that helpful?)

Not much, I guess. The Linda Evangelista version would be the supermodel name, and I don't know her number.

I spent quite some time repairing one of those connectors after a garage mishap. Surprised Burnspot hasn't chimed in on this one.

I would take a couple pictures of it with your smart phone and head off to a pick-a-part salvage yard. Start looking for the same shell and snip the pig tail, give them $10 for it and splice it to the FJR harness...or if you're super masochistic, like me, you can pull the terminals out one by one and put them in the new connector.

Most Japanese stuff (bikes, cars, trucks, airplanes, UFOs, etc...) use the same type connectors. Chances are there is a Grand Vitara or Prelude with your connector just waiting to be discovered.

That there is funny!

I think I used the exact procedure above - in that order, with the same count of words!

I must be all thumbs!

I gotta give you props on centering that bruise like that. Nice even spacing, that's hard to accomplish.
