I just received my PC-8 and wiring harness from eastern beaver. Anyone have an installation thread or video? I'm mounting it under the rear seat but the relay trigger wire on their harness is too short to reach that far. Anyone know what wire the EB harness trigger wire is designed to tap into? Also, I know I want my gps on an unswitched circuit but I'm not sure about the usb ports I'm putting my Givi case. I'm thinking unswitched here as well as I can't imagine anything drawing enough power to kill the battery if I forget to unplug it. Thoughts?

Re: PC-8 Install
I have always used the wire for the license plate light as a relay trigger wire. It is easy to tap into, easy to find, easy to access. It is on the left side behind and above the air filter.
Never run out of real estate, traction and ideas all at the same time.

Yep - it's a blue wire with a white stripe and there is a connector in the wire conveniently located right next to where you F/B will go. I put a pair of crimp connectors on my wiring harness so that I didn't have to cut or tap into the Yamaha wire (see yellow wire in picture)

Re: PC-8 Install
In my install, I ran 10 gauge to the rear and installed a 50 amp connector, and a mating connector on one end of my jumper cables. Where the positive wire is, I included the relay feed for the PC-8. Trigger wire can tap into the blue tail light wire or licence plate wire behind the left side panel. If you have an Admore harness or adapter harness for a Scorpio alarm, they plug and play into the rear end wiring connectors and you can tap in to the tail light feed from there. If you don't want booster cables, then take your feed wire directly to the PC8 relay.

Re: PC-8 Install
Thanks. That's exactly what I did, I tapped into the tail light wire where the admore light kit connects. I just had to extend the trigger wire.
I also had to extend the GPS wiring as it now has to run all the way to the tail of the bike. Soldered all the splices and used shrink tubing.
