remove left side fairing gen ii

Hi,

Does anyone know: Is it possible to remove just the left side of the gen2 fairing?

I'm sure I've done it a few times.
Don't forget the two screws in the "chin" below the radiator.

Yes. Put a towel or something on the floor as while you undue the turn signal the bottom can rub on the floor. Whoops.

Rub the bottom on the floor? This is a problem? Mine has a solid layer of road grime for protection of the valuable plastic under it.

FYI, pulling this panel is easier than cleaning it. I pull it when changing the oil because I've yet to get a foolproof method to keep the oil from the filter from not going everywhere. Trust me, this fool has tried everything.

Jasen, when changing the oil, remove the lower screw, pull fairing out and put your oil filter box there to hold it away from the engine. Pretty foolproof.....

I also wrap that piece with a little tinfoil.
