A white helmet, and you will be clear to "part the waters".

I like it...especially since I'm not the one washing it.

I thought a nice blue & white checker pattern might work, but I want to spend Xmas with the family & not making new friends in the local lock up, the white Shoie helmet should be enough. I was tossing up personalised plates, they would let me get PYG70, OINK70 (same result I think as the blue/white checks) so I went with MFP07 (a Mad Max fan will pick the ref up)

Welcome to the forum and congrats on moving to a superior motorcycle. ;)

I've thought a white bike would be great because drivers would think you're the Police. But in reality it just causes cars in front of you to slow down and then you're stuck creeping along until you can pass. My 07 FJR is burgundy color and it's bad enough; I can't image how bad it would be if she was white. :(

Nice! I wish we would get as enlightened as the rest of the world and allow lane splitting here. California is the only state that allows it, although other states have proposed allowing it also. I'm hoping we can finally push it through here in Washington state where I live.

Doesn't Washington have that nice rule about pulling over if you're holding up traffic? In Oregon I believe it's 3 or 5 cars..... heck, I'd settle for that here any day.

Yes, you're supposed to pull over if you're holding up 5 or more vehicles. You're also supposed to keep right except passing, but there's a plethora of scofflaws that hang out in the fast lane blocking anyone else from passing. :(

I thought it worked OK when we were there, found the drivers quite polite about it ....... ummm, I try hard to stay off roads that had fast lanes, LOL.
