I just looked through the entire thread twice. I never saw your submitted photo. I was watching this thread pretty close, but if I missed your photo, I sincerely apologize.
Sorry I forgot the smiley face indicating sarcasm. I was not miffed and didn't move my picture from your other thread asking about interest in an FJR calendar because it was a low resolution crappy photo. Thanks for putting the calendar together and I cant wait to hang it above my desk.

After all of that sleep I lost last night!!!! I feel like this :zombwobb: ;) My fault for checking the forum at 4 AM I suppose. I'm my own worst critic and just keep hoping I didn't screw it up for everybody.

It was pretty short notice to throw this together. Thank you guys for being so patient. It's been a little over 12 hours and I've almost sold as many as I did with the Nighthawk-Forums. I sold 19 total with them last year and we're at 18 here, with 1/3 of the members.

The photos are what make it great. I just facilitate. I think next year will be a ratings system like I've done before. That way everyone can have input on every photo. This year, it was hard to pick only 12. I just wasn't sure how many pictures we'd have, interest, etc. I think it is a safe bet that I will be doing another one for 2018.

So it's a good chance to talk about what you want to see in the future. I already know it will be a 1-5 star rating system like I've done in the past. I think I still want to limit it to one submission per user. You can change your photo at anytime and all of your votes will be erased and you basically start over. Knowing that it is coming this time around, people should be able to plan really nice shots. In the past, I made it a year long contest that started at the New Year. I don't think I'll do that this time. I think the concentrated submission and voting helps keep the interest up. I'll accept submission anytime, but they won't go live for voting until for instance Nov. 1st and voting would end on the 30th. Give me a few days to put it all together, and hopefully you have them by Christmas.

I also think I may say no professional photographs. No Killboy, US129, etc. There is a year to plan out photos for next year's contest. I think it makes it even more of a member calendar. Also, no images this year will be allowed in following years. Let's keep the calendars fresh and unique.

Thoughts?

So procrastination pays off?

When I was putting the artwork into the calendar, I must have added one into my cart to make sure everything looked alright. But I left it in the cart. Anyway, I was sent an email telling me I left something in my cart. It had a coupon code for 25% off my order. I don't know if it will work for anyone else, but it is 6LZFHB4T and it looks like it is still valid for me.

Been holding a paint brush and roller or 3 days and haven't taken much time to visit the forum. Woke up for my nightly bio-break and realized that I hadn't ordered my calendar. Saw the link on the homepage and went directly to it. Ordered my Christmas present to myself.

THEN decided to catch up with this thread, only to realize that I paid full price. Oh well - still worth it. Lord knows, I've wasted $3 bucks on plenty, for sure.

Once again, many thanks Tim for leading this charge. I'll hang my calendar proudly in my home.

You can always order more! :D

I updated the link on the first page with the coupon code. May your misfortune bring savings to others.
