Newbie post
Hi, I'm Thantos. While not new to motorcycles, I'm new to the FJR. I live in SW Virginia, a couple of mile from the parkway. I bought the FJR as a winter commuter; and have been very pleased with it. I perform my own maintenance, but these bikes don't seem to require much. That's good because I'd rather ride anyway!

Welcome sir!! You live in a beautiful place with fantastic riding.
The FJR is as maintenance free as they come. Further, there are people on this forum that know as much or more about this bike than Yamaha does.
Hope you enjoy your bike. Bring the camera and post up a few pictures every now and then.
