Winterize your bike!? That sucks. I still ride a few days each winter here, even when the average high temp was well below freezing three years ago. But it is much better when the temp gets to 70, like it will tomorrow!

We set a record today for 11-16....89 deg, and I didn't have a chance to ride. That's ok because I rode the last three Sundays in the row. :D

I wish I could relate to this problem... But I can't.

If it makes you guys feel any better I did have to turn on the grip heaters this morning. It was 51 degrees. BBRRRR!!!

Battery and Stabil. Got it. Sure seems like it's gonna be a whole lot of work for me to do this to prepare my bike for our couple of days of winter.

Just sayin, to my fellow southren brethren...

Just because I was disadvantaged in my life to grow up in the land up north, doesn't mean I wasn't a true southerner at heart.

It's ok for the motorcyclists to move south, but all the moms in SUV's can stay up there.

Well, except for the really hot ones. :D

Bit of an anomaly for this time of year, but it'll be in the mid-60's today and mid-70's tomorrow around here. I need to put the front wheel back on my bike (new tire) and take advantage of it. ;)

The don't even have to be "really hot". Ugly as I am I have no right to be picky.

I'll be taking advantage of the 70 degree temps tomorrow...heading down to SEO, for a little twisty therapy.

I've got fuel stabilizer in mine already too. It has been nice, but it is dark when I leave in the mornings. I'm not a fan of riding in the dark and there are way too many deer moving this time of year. I may hop on for a quick ride around town still.

With a 3 year old, a wife that works 3rd shift and weekends, and a 7 mile round trip commute, the bike sat parked much more this year. I think I only got around 4k on the season and 2 of that was a one trip out east. Actually it's the first time I've had a set of tires last 2 full seasons.

I did insulate, drywall, and get my garage heated this year. The plan is to make winter suck less. So far, I've wasted my money and I'm OK with that. Shoot, I'll rip it all down and do it again next year if I know that it keeps next fall the same as this one.

Rode mine to work every day this week, just like I do most of the time.

I will not ride it to work next week at all. Because I will be off all next week.
