Another Workplace Distraction
Hello, there. Since I ended up with a hat and a bag, both embroidered with this site, from EOM, I figured I jump into the pool. Now to explore....

LittleJon....so you're "that guy"! After you get a few post under your belt you can ask to join the "back yard" but be careful what you ask for!

Re: Another Workplace Distraction
Welcome Jon! I'm still hoping for one more ride this year, so maybe you and Mel and Laura and I can do a little leaf-peeping. Not this weekend, but weather-permitting, I need to roll just one more time!!

Same boat up here. The weather went into the shitter right after EOM. Low 50's and rain everyday. The leaves have really just started up. Maybe 15%, I've got my fingers crossed we get a decent weekend during the peak.

Re: Another Workplace Distraction
There's nothing quite like walking in to a room and seeing familiar faces.
I don't plan on putting the bike away until they start dropping salt, but Mel is done for the year (skydiving mishap, if you'll believe that).
And I paid good money for the hat and the bag. A very worthy cause. The gentleman who got the banner was just lucky it was a '13 and not my pretty red head.
My question here is this.... what is different about this site, from the other(s)?

I looked long and hard for a 2014 banner......haven't been able to find one (yet). How is this forum different from the other??? Keep posting and read the rules

Re: Another Workplace Distraction
There is less, shall we say, 'moderation' on this forum. There are some folks here who frequent both sandboxes, and there are some here who revolted and abandoned the other forum due to how those moderators ran the show. In any case, folks in both places are cool FJR peeps!!LittleJon wrote:

And what the hell happened with Mel and skydiving??!!??

Happy to be here.
As far as Mel, she landed badly and hurt her tailbone. She hasn't been on a bike since the end of August.

Re: Another Workplace Distraction
Pretty sure I've seen a picture of YOUR ass, Bust. I definitely didn't ask for that. And the very first time I saw the "sheep shag" emoticon, I thought of you. HAHAHAHA! I clicked on it to put it in the post and it's actually called "Bust in Love". Excellent.
