Hi guys. I'm a former R1 rider with a new to me 2008 FJR that I picked up this past Monday. It only has 9200 miles on it. Obviously it's a lot different than the R1, but different in a good way.
I'm looking forward to owning this bike for years to come.
Thanks for letting me join.

Re: Former sportbike guy here!
The FJR's eyes aren't flecked with blood like the R1's. But it's a good trade off between comfort and thrust.

Welcome to the nuthouse!
Searching for roads paved with Asphalt, unless I am riding the mighty DR650 bushpig.

Careful! This sorry lot will corrupt you and the next thing you know, your FJR will have a dual sport stablemate. That Bungie guy is one of 'em.
