I am trying to discern what these three wires are. I know black is ground, green turn signal? blue with red stripe? running light??
I am trying to find a source for switched power and this was suggested elsewhere. But before I tap one wanted to make sure what was what.

Re: Wire question on turn signal running lights
Use the power to the outlet in the glove box. It is easier to get to. I don't use it for anything else as I power my tank bag from the battery tender plug. Keep in mind I am suggesting using it to drive a relay like on an FZ-1 Fuseblock not for a power feed. (I will bet that is what you are looking for too)

Re: Wire question on turn signal running lights
If you choose to go this route, the Green wire is the right turn signal, the Blue/Red wire is the tail lights and license plate light.jsaul53 wrote:I am trying to discern what these three wires are. I know black is ground, green turn signal? blue with red stripe? running light??

The glove box wire (Brown/Black) or one of the front marker lights (Blue/Red, both R & L sides) are also popular places to pick up switched ignition voltage to turn on a relay but not power accessories.
(If something goes wrong, which circuit would you prefer to lose, in the rain, in the cold, at midnight? )
