I have been a fan of slipgrips phone holders for a couple of years now.
My new phone has wireless charging and I wanted to take advantage of that on the bike.
Since nobody makes one it was time to get creative....
A good bit of epoxy and some reshaping followed this pic.

Electrically it has turned out quite well!
It charges faster than I use the battery with a gps demanding app running.
With Waze running on my 1/2 hour commute home I gained 6% charge. I didn't want to exceed usage by a large margin so as to decrease the risk of hot battery warnings.
I plan to add a switch so I can turn it off when not needed, and I am going to change the supply cable and add a support behind it so I don't inadvertently damage the socket.

Its hard to tell from the picture. Are the electronics just glued on the back of the case?

I used a two part epoxy resin. There are several coats on it
