Server Maint - this Saturday

Post by Calimus »

Greetings everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know that our webhost will be upgrading the operating system that our site runs on this coming Saturday (October 11th). We may see some outages and downtime and this is to be expected. I'll be doing my best to keep an eye on it and will deal with the webhost if it get's to a point that I feel is unacceptable. I mainly just wanted everyone to know what was going on so that there wasn't any panic or blaming of a certain forum member of maybe giving up sheep and trying web servers out. :o

If there are any questions, please feel free to direct them to me.

Thanks,
William

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?

1. Because that's what you are after giving them your money.
2. Doug hit the nail on the head I think.

Riddle me this in turn.

Why do we have two calves that will never become cows?

Why do we drive on the parkway and park on the driveway?
Trying to be different, just like everyone else.

We have calves because they haven't been raised..... Image

And for the same reason that the light switch has on and off written on it. When it's on I can see it's on and when it's off I can't see to read it!

When they added security fencing and gates at the airport where I got my pilot's license, I was amused to find a braille keypad on the drive-up gate to the aircraft hangar area...

Why does the top speed if a motorcycle have a direct correlation to the rider's IQ?

Not really, no. It's direct. Racers seem pretty smart. FJR guys all seem to be around a 150. (They do ride FJRs, they must be hyper intelligent...) And guys on sludge pumps all seem to have about an 80-100 (average).

You may ask, "What about a Hyabusa?" And my reply is simple. I've never seen one of them break 40, and that's usually just after the operator tests out his flip flops, T-shirt and gold "grill" on cold hard asphalt.

See my logic here? LOL!

Yeah, but it's the jackasses on 180mph liter bikes with an IQ of <10 that screws up the whole theory. Darwin does not intervene nearly often enough.
