I’d have a hard time choosing between the pavement and the gravel in north Georgia /East Tennessee area. That’s why I brought both bikes last time.

Recognize just about all of the last two days from Ellijay. Good stuff. Well done.

As our friend Marty says, there are no such things as bad conditions, just bad gear that doesn’t mitigate bad conditions.
I call BS!!!

Say it's 26 degrees outside and when, due to my 'sophistication' I have to get up at 3am to take a piss and have to get out of my comfy sleeping bag, get out of the tent, and take care of one's business, well, there ain't no freaking gear good enough to mitigate any of those shite conditions!!!!

Wow. You are really sophisticated.

Great stuff Josh...glad you were able to catch up to your newly found riding buds. Looks like Helene didn't damage NGA too much.

So.......does this qualify as threadshitting even though you guys are talking about pissing in your sleeping bags because you have micro weiners that don't reach far enough into the bottle???

Have a good day!

wheatonFJR wrote: Sat Mar 08, 2025 11:07 pm Yeah, Bell mountain is pretty steep. I learned about it from Jason and Lumberg. Later, those two idiots invited Duane and I on a Frosty Balls ride. That was one of the places we ended up visiting. You really don't want to stop for opposing cars on the steep portion of the lane and a half wide road.
Lumberg stopped in the road. He pulled up his visor and said "Put it in first gear and don't stop."
Then he was gone.

My introduction to Bell Mountain.

That's a really well done video of the Chatt BDRX. Recognize a lot of that either from the GS or DRZ. Didn't do the larger water crossings, just the smaller ones. You had a great week of riding.
