I'm sorry, what? I thought the #1 rule of FJR Club was we don't sell FJR's

In my garage they multiply like rabbits!
Does anyone really need 13 FJRs??? Does anyone really *want* 13 FJRs??? I have found the answer to be NO!
Now, before everyone gets their panties in a bunch:
One of those was bought on the cheap specifically as a parts bike.
Two of them are nut currently assembled/running and are long term projects.
And a couple of them were bought specifically to flip after getting some much needed TLC. (More freaking projects)
And one of them will go to Europe for the long term next year or 2026.
Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

My FZ-1 (at least 12 years old) has the main ground, trigger, and 12V connection right next to each other on the same side of the block. The PCB has a solder line to the circuit grounds. 4 FJRs and almost 200K miles later, still works like a champ.gixxerjasen wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 1:30 pm...My only complaint on the FZ1 is that I wish they'd double layered it so the ground was under the power, so you could just run the wire to the block with minimal split to it. Having to split and go around to the other side leaves it messier than I'd like it to be....
Today, 3 of my good buddies and I rode the motorcycles. For me and one other, it was about 275 miles. One other cut it short by about 100 miles, and the 4th met us in the middle from North LA and he probably rode about as much as I did.
Randy (north LA) has a 2023 GSXR 1000GT with a recently upgraded rear shock (not sure from what - about 100 pounds more spring stiffness). Sweet ride:
Mike is enjoying his brand new '24 AT - I like the color combinations on this bike.
Alex chose the RT today - the white color on this bike is really nice.
We met in the middle at a taco stand we all like. I had the Cuban sandwich - different, but tasty.
And of course, we stopped mid afternoon for the obligatory confection.
Nice day in the back country.
Stay thirsty, my friends....
