Time to change plugs. Well - probably not necessary, but at 27K miles, I'm gonna do it anyway.
Can anyone please confirm that this is the correct spark plug for my bike:
2021 Fjr1300ES (US model, non-California)
NGK CPR8EA-9 (GAP: 0.031" - 0.035")
Note: If you use anything other than the OEM spark plug, good for you. Not judging,, but I'm looking to replace mine with the EXACT same plug. I don't have the owner's manual and don't feel like raising the tank and removing one plug just to verify.
Thanks.

User manuals used to be readily available on Yamaha's websites for free download. I had a look and couldn't find one except at an Australian site. Pretty sure it would be the same. If you don't have the manual, you may want to go here and navigate to what you need.

I posted on a FB group and someone found the Onwer's Manual here:
https://library.ymcapps.net/library/om/ ... b7Au4SOuGw
The cover page does not specify "2021" but the copywrite is 2021.
Problem solved....

That is the correct plug for that year.... same plug as before except the "P" is for projected tip. Sticks a bit further into the combustion chamber to alledgedly have cleaner combustion (introduced on Gen3 to comply with Euro4 emissions). You can use the regular plugs if you wish, the cylinder head and other related internal parts has not changed since 2003.
