First ride of the season tonight - it was after 7pm when I rolled out, but just had to get it in.

Since it would be dark soon, it gave me a chance to play with the new lights. All I can say is WOW!! I left the house with them on at 20% - that's the lowest setting I've got programmed into the Skene controller. Throughout the entire ride (just short of 100 miles), not one car flashed their headlights at me - so it looks like 20% power is safe to run all the time and not blind oncoming traffic, daylight or dark.

I got out to some less populated areas and played with them on the other settings plus 100% with the high beams. At this point, I'm very happy with the lights and the Skene controller. I had my point and shoot camera running video off a ram mount; but mounted to the heli-bar top clamp produced so much vibration the video is almost un-viewable.

Next trip out, I'll take the tools needed to adjust the lights, and play with adjusting the aim of them.
Ride There!

How are these working out? Need an update, in the market for aux lights.

You'll be in Sonora, right? There'll be lots to compare there (like my Clearwaters).

I like the Clearwaters too, I want to get this done before heading west. Just trying to decide if I should bite the bullet and go big or if these will work.

I have a pair of these that I started to mount on my KLR 650. Plan to put them on the FJR now. VERY bright! Found a great price on these... $99 a pair! I bought as an impulse purchase at a retail location, and paid double this price.
