About 8,000 miles on it. I'm not sure I've ever seen a bike this clean. His new bike...

Damm - that puppy is clean. Still jonesing for my old red. I like my current bike, but the red will always be my favorite color.
Somebody is jealous! Hey you can always get your FJR painted any color you want. Nudge nudge hint hint. And if you do you will confuse the hell out of everybody as you will have all the great updates but it will look like a '14 and that is priceless.

Day late but since I started a post here wanted to submit here.

Left Canon City, CO Thursday stopped in eastern Missouri for an overnight. Winds in Kansas were brutal. Ran through numerous dust storms built up from the winds one of which was a blackout. 5 sec or so of NO visual was too long at 70+mph. From Missouri to home in York. PA yesterday. Two back to back 880 mile days wasn't pleasant in the 90+ degree weather but had to be done.

Much thanks to John and all involved for the rendezvous.

Edit 5987 miles total for the 13 days

Heading home in blazing temps through Kansas for 800+ miles per day sounds like last summer for me. I didn't have the crazy blackout that you did though. Glad you got home safely.

Had 2 weeks of back issues and brutal punishment of it at work to meet a deadline. Opportunity to ride today with Viper Dad. Figured I’d give it a try.

Seemed to go okay so headed down to ride one of 1911’s favorite roads in Virginia, route 311 down by Paint Bank.

We did Duane proud. I had nothing left to give.

Total for the day for me, 499 miles. Guess I found the right back therapy.

Took my old MV Motorrad bar risers to my brother’s and installed them with him, on his new bike. He mounted a powered quad lock on it so he’s really ready to ride now. If it wasn’t going to be 97-100 for the next week, it would be helpful.

Glad they are taking time to stop and take pictures. Unlike the bozos they were riding with on their initial journey west from Spearfish.

Rode the FJR from Sun Valley Idaho to Stanley Idaho, McCall Idaho, Hells Canyon, landing in Enterprise Oregon. At Lowman Idaho I rode south on Hwy 21 for 11 miles then back as it is a twist fest with unblemished asphalt. Oh la la. Most excellent.

This photo of the Sawtooth Mountains and my FJR was taken just outside of Stanley.

Took about a 150 mile ride today. Bike is running fantastic. I won't post my lowly N. GA pics when seeing all these Rocky Mountain pics.
I spent most of my money on guns, motorcycles, women, and whiskey. The rest I just wasted!
