N00b

Post by bionicpelvis »

Hi Everyone! I'm new here ;) My name is Wendy, aka BionicPelvis. I ride all the bikes, great distances if at all possible, but my Feej is always my go-to. Or I should say, one of my Feejees cuz I currently have 5. Tyler told me y'all are having a party in my backyard and that I simply must attend, so here I am! I'm nothing if not a good listener and direction follower.

Thanks for letting me into the cool kids club!

Well - this indeed is an honor! Welcome from south Lousiana. At the risk of sounding creepy (and I'm NOT creepy - anything you read here about "bears and Pants" is, weeeeelllllllll ... there was just that ONE time, but I digress..), meeting you has been on my bucket list for a while.

We are glad to have you.

Welcome Wendy! Looking forward to seeing you at the Spearfish Rendezvous.

I'll have the Saturday Steak dinner info posted in early May.

Will you have autographed books for sale?
Will you autograph dogeared copies in the parking lot?

Wendy - Welcome.

Is there somewhere within the North American continent that would be considered not "in your backyard"??? :)

It's a good thing that Tyle vouched for you; a user name like that had me thinking it was another spammer joining to share the prized porn jewel of their eastern European community... ;)

Seriously though -welcome, glad to have ya! You'll need 5 total posts in order for all the rest of the area's of the forum open to you.

Wayne.

Wendy, welcome to the asylum forum! Glad to have you join us.

I take it you are the Wendy, who released a book not that long ago. If so, I bought the paperback, per Tyler’s suggestion, and absolutely loved it! It was chock full of Murphy’s Law, and was a well relatable read (the Murphy’s Law part, not the kajillion miles part).

Hope to see your contributions on here. :D

Rob,

How cool. I'm like in chapter two of a book about a long distance rider named Wendy doing some crazy long ride. What a coincidence. You should check it out as you might enjoy it!

Damn, LDR is certifiable and you are the queen of said insanity.

Welcome from the land of jailed governors and land of Lincoln. I am sure you have punished yourself on one of our awful interstates. Likely how you broke that pelvis…… hitting one of these potholes.
I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!
