Canyon Cages with MCL highway pegs
Has anyone tried the motorcycle larry highway pegs with the canyon cages? I have fitted pegs on the canyon cages but was not quite what I want for long distance riding.

Here is mine with Garauld's pegs. I didn't like them as well and got some Kuryakan (sp?) pegs instead. I don't have any pictures of the Kuryakan pegs right now. But I do like them more.

Re: Canyon Cages with MCL highway pegs
It would be hellaciously expensive, but Kuryakyn makes pegs that would clamp to those, I have a set on the case guards of my XS11. They are very nice.

I have a similar setup to what you show in the pictures and just not a big fan of the location. I can't lengthen my legs so I am looking to bring the pegs closer is why I am looking at the MCL pegs. I saw on one of the other forums where someone has done it with some modifications.

I got a chance to get pictures of my current set up for pegs. They are Kuryan with a 3" offset piece to allow more adjustabilityjsaul53 wrote:I have a similar setup to what you show in the pictures and just not a big fan of the location. You can get the clamps at Rivco also. Reverse the clamps to point backwards is another option to bring them closer.......

Be careful. Those look like they are gonna drag very early. Just be aware of your limits.

Re: Canyon Cages with MCL highway pegs
the gen 2 cages are made out of 7/8" tube and the gen 3 cages are 1" tube. Just make sure you order the right diameter tube clamp and you will be fine.atourville wrote:Will the same work between the GEN2 & GEN3 Cages?

Re: Canyon Cages with MCL highway pegs
I reversed the clamps as suggested by raYzerman. On a short ride it appears to be what I needed. Next SS1000 will be the real test.

This is what I'm looking to do but I think I need them a lil wider. Clamps are perfect. Thanks

Yeah, I have aftermarket suspension. Where they are located, they won't drag before the foot pegs do.HotRodZilla wrote:Be careful. Those look like they are gonna drag very early. Just be aware of your limits.
