Let it begin!!

Post by cowcop »

As I am about to bring my 2014ES home as the replacement of my demised 09, I was wondering where I can get frame sliders for the beauty? I used some fm MCL last time, but they do not appear to have them anymore.

I recall posts where they mentioned a couple of different brands for GenIII, including the OEM ones (expensive). These are not your typical sliders, and have an rectangular/oblong shape to them..... have you considered Canyon Cages?
OK, I Googled it......

I priced out Yamaha's sliders .... :o too pricey...must be made of titanium..lol
I have looked at the cages, but weight and expensive were the draw backs. :?:
The Link to T-Rex seems to be better for sure!

Someone else on FJRForum just posted up a picture of a GenIII with standard sliders. Maybe OES or Motovation. I'm thinking Motivation. Said they bolted on.

The Yamaha sliders are made out of un-obtainium.
