Rear Reflector/LED

Post by senecahome »

The 2013 I bought has a LED unit instead of the reflector on the bottom edge of the rear fender. I assume this is an aftermarket unit. Unfortunately the lens has been lost and I'm trying to find a source for the LED unit. Has anyone else replaced the reflector with a LED unit, and if so, where did you get it????
Thanks -Glen

Electrical Connection used to sell the rectanguar LED reflector replacements... You may find them at Wingstuff or order direct from AliExpress.... They aren't particularly bright, and you may find a rectangular trailer or truck clearance light is just as bright.
This may also work if the size is right....

Thanks. wingstuff has a unit that looks almost the same as what I have. Guess I would need to purchase the complete unit, not just the lens. I may just replace it with the OEM reflector if I don't find the same unit somewhere.

Found something on ebay that looks almost the same - red rectangular with 24 leds
Description: 2X 24 LED Reflector Stop Tail Light Brake Turn Signal Lamp For Motorcycle Car

aliexpress also has something similar in a variety of colors.
Their description: 2x/4x/6x 12V Red Yellow White Rectangle Universal Truck LED Motorcycle Led Turn Signal Reflector Tail Light Brake Stop Lights

Yes, shoulda explained, no lenses only available, the 24 LED ones are basically all you can get in standard reflector size... all the same, all made in China.
Meanwhile I do have Hyperlites and you will not fail to be noticed...... even the smaller 8 LED ones. I get comments on mine.

Now those Whelen TIR3 (and lots of knock-offs) are obnoxious brake lights (police strobes), please don't ride in front of me unless you can switch it off.
