Prior two events have been awesome BigJohn, count me interested and motivated to attend. I'll be retired by that time so won't have any time constraints...at least until SWMBO starts budgeting my time. AK is on the slate for 2024 too but don't have timing figured out yet!

Thanks for the efforts!

Don’t think we can let Rob cross the border alone. I might have to chaperone. Count me in as a definite maybe.

IN !

May 31st is essentially my last day. But I have the DC trip to chaperone right after that so let’s hope and pray it’s the 2nd weekend. Like the 6,7,8,9. I will be back home in time to get to Spearfish in the truck.

If that’s the case I am already making campground reservations. It’s a perfect place to venture into camping. We could get some sites together and have a blast.

Please make this happen!!!

I will even bring my 250 for Marty to ride. Did you hear that you little goat humper??

I'd like some feedback; I had a good time when you held this at Scott's Motel in Spearfish and I'm sure another place could be found.
Semi-commitment; The dates are good ,Grandsons birthdays are 6/14 & 6/18. I'll give you as much commitment a 71 year old can give, spent 8 days fighting Colitis/Sepsis with my hart going into Afib. Makes you wounder a little about time?
Level of interest; I'm sure either FJR or the S-Ten would do, we had a great run on the CanAm-Hwy (85). I still smile it was the first time we met Craig Regs a good man. Jimmy Jimmy telling us to slow down as he wanted us to slow down as he wanted his Endorphins to catch up! Hell yea, if the Lords willing and the creek don't rise!

Disclaimer, last trip to Alaska could get in the way!

f@$k YA! June is busy at the MC school and the DDRS (Dakota Dual Sport Riders) usually have their spring rally on the first or second weekend of June but I'll do my best to be there.

I'm hoping to be down there for the DDSR fall rally this September 14th - 17th also.

How on earth can I say no to this. With your history of organizing, the star studded list of committed attendees and good old SD hospitality.
I have a new passport and the nod from my Parole Officer.
All I need now is to secure a bike and I’m a definite maybe.
Can’t wait to ride with all y’all youins again.

Black Hills BDR-X loop will be newly released this Saturday. It is bound to make for great ride for those that want to ride a mixture of gravel, world class stretches of pavement, challenging two track and some dirt roads. Last time John had a FJR / Dual sport rally, we had a small group of myself Bill, and CJ that rode most of the 900+ mile DAKAL (Dakota Adventure Loop) and it was a great time but was a lot of pavement and gravel trying to link up trails and touch Nebraska, Wyoming and North Dakota.

https://ridebdr.com/news/get-on-adv-fes ... s-sd-2023/

I had sort of forgotten that this was in the works. I might have to find a few August days to get out there and ride the 355 mile Black Hills BDR_X loop.

I would imagine the weather up there during that time would still be conducive to camping?
