That's some serious riding, especially finishing off with an SS2K two up after all that.

You two are amazing, my hat is off to you both!Auburn wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 7:01 pm Stats:
15 days, 14 riding (didn't ride 6/30 - IBR finish day)
Bike ODO: 15,0555 miles
GPS ODO: 14,857 miles
Moving average: 72 mph
Overall Average: 41.8 mph (for 360 hours - 15 days)
I submitted the paperwork today for the following:
1. Saddlesore 12K
2. Nested 48 states challenge inside the SS12k
3. Saddlesore 2K for the trip home.
4. SCMA 4 corners ride
All are subject to verification and approval. Looking through the IBA record list, it appears that we may be the first 2up couple to do a SS12K and the 48 states challenge.

4th Corner - Key West, FL
At Traxxion for shock service. Rear spring preload was soft. They corrected that while we were here.

A little snooze waiting for the MCD to open

Re: SCMA 4 corners & IBA 48/10 ride
Congratulations! That’s truly an amazing journey and story. I really enjoyed following it and seeing the photos that captured some highlights. What might be the greatest feat of all is that your co-Pilot made this trip with you. Not sure what your relationship is but hope its still intact after 15,000 miles on the back of that bike My wife rode with me all through the years even hanging on for dear life on the back of my 91 CBR-1000F but it was a 3,000 mile trip on my Goldwing during a blazing hot humid summer back in 08 that did her in. She got off and never got back on. Hope to hear and see more about it.

We have been doing long rides 2up for 26 years now. She loves the ride as much as I do. Definitely have a special one in her.Blueridgerider wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 5:46 pm Congratulations! That's a calendar Pic right there... Although technically not an FJR, it's still worthy of hanging on my wall for a month.

Moki Dugway, 2-up on a fully (over?) loaded Goldwing! Unbelievable! Absolutely blown away by this accomplishment. Congrats again.
