At first it looked to me like that the fool was trying to pass the 'Vette and never gave you a thought.

My wife asked me why I speak so softly around the house. I said that I was worried that someone was listening. She laughed, I laughed, Alexa laughed.

Went back and re-viewed the video. The oncoming bike had no intention of passing the vette there. He just blew the curve for any number of reasons, got unlucky, and could have caused a wreck. He might have target fixed on BRR a bit.

Outside, inside, outside....

Was on my up to Hazard's Distillery for a refreshment resupply about ready to hit a left fairly tight sweeper when a kid, in a fart can equipped honda, forgot about his right bend. I wipped the bike to the far right as he literally drifted his car sideways through the corner on my side of the road. I almost needed to pull over and get my brain straight again. Gad. Idiot. You just never know.

Yeah, I remember that right handed advice too..but I thought it was Toecutter warning about trucks cutting into your lane in the curve. Would seem to be good advice...but in some certain sharp blind curves in SE Ohio, the pickemup trucks consistently pick up all the fresh laid gravel shoulder on the sharpest curves and spray it across the right half of the lane at your sharpest sudden curve so you would hit that, wash the front tire out so you wipe out and end up into the oncoming lane; truck or no truck, that's an accident.

NOT for me. I stay left to stay out of the gravel and move right for intruders. I also run with my brights on in the twisties. Many PU trucks have made midfield corrections before they get to me. I don't care about their feelings, they were in MY fking lane! Ride on the right half in SE Ohio only if your trailer is close by and trust the local ortho doktors.

Lesson, know your riding environment, wherever you ride.
