Welcome, Kevin and Maree!
Get to California as soon as you can, and THEN take your time.
Have a great trip!
The coast NORTH of San Fran has some awfully nice riding, too. Just a thought.
And of course you'll take a bunch of pictures and share them with us, ...right?
I only drink when I have to.

Have a great trip... Enjoy the sights out west...If you get to California, I would avoid Citrus Heights where Old Michael lives. It is known for its gang activity and drug use... Lots of very unsavory folks live there. If you come up the coast to Oregon and Washington, you will have fresh air, great scenery and the Seattle area has the best folks around.... I'm sure we can find you some spots to stay. Again have a great trip and be safe... Rich

Don't "rush" to CA. If you do, you'll miss a bunch of great stuff along the way.

Hi AJ
I would just like to thank you & your family for the welcome & company at dinner. We got away mid morning, went to the Gran Quirira ruins at Salinas Pleublo Mission-quite interesting to walk around & read the information. Then continued to Ruidoso along highway 82 to Carlsbad. Thanks again
Kevin.

Kevin and Mauree were awesome. We took them to dinner and they took the dammed bill. We had a good time just hanging out and talking. My girls thought their '03 was pretty!

I was gonna call you yesterday, but due to the day before, it was full of stuff I had to catch up on. I figured if you had any problems you'd have called.

Have fun at the Caverns. They are Amazing! Make sure to take the tour of the King's Room.

Have fun...It was truly great meeting you two!!

From downunder.
Postby KevinW » Sun Mar 16, 2014 12:58 am
Good day all,
I’m from outback NSW Australia. Have a 04 FJR here in OZ with 195000 + on the clock and still going strong.
Have just brought a 2003 in Texas which my wife and I pick up next week.
We have a 6 week ride planned which will end in Missouri.
Basic plan is make our way through the south west and then up the coast as far as San Francisco. Then make our way back across to Missouri.
The plan is to see as much as possible without travelling on any interstates or major highways.
We would be interested in meeting anyone in these areas for a coffee & a yarn –
We can be contact on email:- kmareea@outlook.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thank you for your time
Kevin & Maree Wheeler

As you can see we are in AZ and leaving for CA, is there anyone in CA that has a tire changer that could help me out as the bike is fitted with a car tire on the rear and I would like to replace with same.

Whereabouts in California, BD - Norcal/Bay Area/SoCal? It's kind of a big state… wink.png
Kevin and Maree, send a Private Message to Tyler here at FJRiders.com She know of a tire changer owned by her Friend in Pleasanton, California

Many thanks for responding Miss Tyler, You are the Best! They left mi Casa at 0830 hours this morning heading for the high desert north of Los Angeles. Their front wheel is their guide, no set plans. They have planned on riding as far North as the Bay Area, then turning East by Southeast heading to Missouri to store their bike!
