I replaced an Admore 11 inch light bar with the smaller 8 inch one. The 11 inch was fine until I did something stupid to mess it up the plastic cover They no longer make the 11 hence no replacement. I love the light bar and have it on both my motorcycles so figured it’s a great safety device to have to be seen and is worth the cost of a new one.
The 11 inch bar was great as the light and bracket covered the huge license plate holder on the Gen III FJR. The thing is 9 inches long Most M/C license plates are only 6 inches long so it leaves a bunch of that bracket with the holes not looking too sporty back there on both ends. I know in other countries they have larger plates so they had to design it to cover them all. Hey it’s being somewhat anal I know and I am not usually that way but started to look for a smaller replacement that fits to make it look neater. As they say up north, Fuhgeddaboudit. Ain’t nothing nowhere that fits the 3.5 inch distance between the bracket screws. My bracket after taking off the other light was nasty rusty etc. I doubt I am the only one to want to improve that look and was wondering if anyone has done so. If not it’s a can of flat black spray paint and move on.

I actually ordered a replacement smoked cover for it and it is in great shape. There was damage to the the original cover and light assembly. The cover went on fine but the light itself is not trustworthy. And as a brief follow up I got out the flat back spray can and it all looks great with the 8 inch bar that is now on the bottom of the license plate Ya live and learn.
