Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Rode 28/129/60 and a couple of others.
Bike probably weighs 6 pounds extra from the buildup from a week of wet weather riding.
Today, temps held in the upper 50’s/low 60’s all day. I rode in a lot of mist and spray, but didn’t get any rain until midday. Then the bottom fell out. Frog choker for the last 2 hours. I was bone dry, but felt bad for the bike.
Espresso, Tomahawk steak, and the Macallan. Because America.

Another nice day expected today. The red horse is getting "twice a week" duty.

In 32 degree weather, washed the FJR and the wife's car before putting them away for Winter. FJR was already clean, but I missed a few hardened bugs on the front, and wanted them off before the Winter wax job that will take place in my heated garage in the next month. Also filled it up with Rec fuel.

Rode mine to work today. It was actually a bit warmer than forecast called for, 41 degrees at 6:00. They finally have the road going into my work paved, at least paved enough to be passable. It's a state road and since temps are now below freezing most nights PA won't allow them to do the finish pave until Spring now.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Moved it to the side of the garage, and put it on the tender and pulled my car into the garage. It looks like the latter half of this month will be amongst the coldest weather of the winter with lows in the 20s! I'd prefer the warm garaged car during that time.
After this break of cold weather, I will start the process of stripping it down for its first valve check. Griff's on speed dial when that starts...

Rode it about 280 miles yesterday, and 280 again today. It’s a good ride.

I swapped the battery tender over to it from the KLX.

One week ago we were digging out from the blizzard. Today, I went out and rode the FJR for about two hours. Believe it or not.

We had pretty close to two feet of snow on the ground. Looks like we're down to about 3 inches. Anymore and I'll be homeless because my igloo had melted.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Put the new registration sticker on the plate. Put the new registration doc under the seat.
Pulled and cleaned and lubed all the front brake pins and caliper bolts, as well as the abs sensor and bolt.
As one of the rear caliper bolts stripped the caliper clean with zero resistance on the last bike, I’m just staring at that one for right now.
Put the old iPhone charger cord under the seat. I’m very pleased with the new wireless charging/mount. But we verify before we trust.

Warmed up nicely yesterday so I got out & about some on the '13. Mostly leisurely country, a little illegal speed highway, you know the drill. Excellent sushi lunch in Greensboro, NC.
