Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
After watching all the FJRs and the wonderful FJR People at the Memorial Service for JWilly I came home and woke my FJR up. Scar was covered in dust and spider webs, the battery was weak and the tires needed air. I cleaned him up and I will be riding him to work this week.
I also took one of the beers that @Hppants bought and toasted JWilly and all of you as well.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Having installed mine then removed several times for steering stem bearing adjustments my solution is blue painter's tape to hold the washers. Holding the washers and threading the nut at the same time is more than my bear claws can accomplish. Put the washers over (under?) the bolt with a piece of tape keeps them in place when the nut gets threaded. Then one can remove the tape. I haven't been studious at removing the tape.

Washed my bike after getting caught in rain at the Mackinaw City Bike Rally this past weekend. I always crack myself up when I come out of an establishment and say "Hey I can't find my bike" with my red FJR in a parking lot of 100 black harleys.

Retire so you can show up to a busy campground like TWOs on a Sunday afternoon. Watch people load up and go back to work.
Then it's just quite and nice.
Well the first night there were a couple of FJR riff raff.
Notice them in the back ground.

Rode it.
Slept at that same empty place mentioned above.
Rode it some more.

Thanks! GA is outside my limit, sorry to say. Best I can usually do is a long weekend, so that limits my options greatly.wheatonFJR wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 9:08 pm TWO- Two Wheels Only, Suches, GA.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
What wheaty said for location.
I like the place cause it caters to motorcyclist. No reservations needed to tent camp. Just put your $20 in the honor box.
The cabin I think all have two single beds. They have power and furnish linens, but no AC.
There also a couple rooms above the lodge.
Restaurant is good but only open on weekends.
I am going to be learning the campgrounds up here. The good riding is just out of reach of an easy day ride for us.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Oil and filter change as well as a drain/refill of the final drive gear oil...
'Checked the front pads and man-o-man... I guess I don't stop too often.
After 61500km the pads are still at better than 50%.
'Put the new set(s) of pads, which I bought four years ago back in the tool chest.
