I know! Winter has been brutal here. Then past two days it's been hovering around freezing (28-38º) when I get up. It takes until 10am for things to get merely cold (50-60º),

The only downside of losing all that weight is the reduction in insulation at wintertime.

It is brutally cold around here but no snow plowing at the moment. We are having our two weeks of winter. Spring is around the corner at least.

I was just saying that to my brother. I think that's the reason it seems 20º colder than it used to feel.

Texas may yet throw some crap in the game but Doug did it this time.
This reveals in the first 15 sec where the turd starts...right over Dougie's head. He spewed so much shit in the air by riding the KLR at elevation that he pissed off the Pacific weather and so it is all on him!

My weather station says the wind is a steady 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph. The temperature has climbed all the way up to 5°F. An optimist will note that it's not snowing.

From next Monday evening through Thursday it is supposed to snow with blizzard like conditions. It's predicted to be the first significant snow since October. An optimist will note that the weatherman is often wrong.

To this point I think we have had one of the mildest winters on record with the lowest snow totals. I finally put snow tires on my car last Friday, now I have to drive like a wuss until May.

We just got a delivery of heating oil; mebby I'll pickup some snowblower gas just to be safe.
