Howdy from the Oregon Outback!

Post by retro »

Treated myself to a Veterans Day gift this year - a brand new (2011) FJR! Drove 400+ miles to get it (Lakeview, OR to Prosser, WA) but that just made for an awesome first ride back home - despite the rain, fog and 36 degree temps.

First impressions: what's the point of a 6.6 gal tank when the bike is sold with a hundred mile seat? Russell Day Long coming next spring. Also, need a good set of risers, my shoulders and wrists were burning after just a few hundred miles.

Overall impression: What a bike! Very happy I am!

:D
