yeah, did not realize that was where Moonshine was located until I got home!! bummer. missed a good opportunity for a special lunch.

Guess I'll have to do it ALL over again.... :D
Don’t get me wrong, you hit a couple grand slam home runs out of the park with your trip. Not going to Moonshine is just like a foul ball tip. You get to swing at it again. Kudos to you!

Even though I saw them all "Live" on facebook, it was good to go back and read the report. Great stuff! That Indian food, man I need some of that again, nothing near where I live, looks like I have to go into the city. Sigh.

About 45 min from my house. Been to the Moonshine Lunch Run prob 4 times now. If you go again and do t invite me, I am going to take it personal. Sad to see it ending....at least officially. The burger place is great to still go and have lunch. Get there early though.

Yeah, Cav covered that old timer. But you can still visit if you get there before 12:00 noon.

Next week maybe?

I wish I had one tenth of your courage. I look back on some of the things I have done on a motorcycle that made me feel like a real Big Man... and I realize I don't even compare to you.

Thanks for sharing all of this. I have to say that my favorite pic was of you and The Cat when you got home.

And just think... You might be to blame thank because you let me ride your DR in Alabama in 2018. Got me itching. Lol. Less than a year later I had my DRZ!

We were standing in a group listening to my DR650 as it went back up that road into the forest. I think it was Rob who looked at me and said, "She ain't riding that thing like you were. She is hauling ass!" We all laughed. I knew by your voice and your happiness when you came back, "I GOTTA get one of these!" that you were going to be on a dual sport soon.

Fist bump Julie. You get it.
Driving along, and driving along… and was figuring I would stop at a rest area to sleep like I did in Iowa. But I didn’t feel comfortable at any of the rest areas or truck stops that I passed and pulled into. So I finally decided I needed to get a hotel. Found one outside Ellis, KS.
Ya, When I went out to Yosemite last year the plan was to sleep in the back of the Rav. I ended up doing it only once, the rest of the times, cheap motels. Why? The walking dead. I'm sure if I hauled my butt away from the Interstates, they would've disappeared.

Wait...what? Redfish inspired someone? Is there no limit for the amount of F'ed up stuff we'll see this year?

Redfish inspires people all the time. People look at him and think "Wow, at least I'm not him!" Then they feel better about themselves and go on to do good things. He also serves to inspire people to not let themselves go all the way lest they end up like him.

I am an excellent Bad Example. I have inspired folks to diet and exercise. I have inspired folks to not have children. I have inspired folks to choose their friends wisely.

And there was this one time in Alabama... I loaned my DR650 to a very brave and wonderful young woman and a whole group of FJR folks waited on the side of the road for her to blast off into the forest. We could hear the big Suzuki winding up and rolling away on a gravel road. We stood there like only Motorcycle Friends will do until that wonderful young woman came back down that winding gravel road. She had a huge grin and she was as happy and as beautiful at that moment as anyone I have ever seen. That memory is one of my favorites.

They even caught a pic of me smiling.
