On the market for 66 days? Is it because he calls it an FJ? Or because he doesn’t indicate what generation it is?

It's a used bike on the market for 66 days halfway between Atlanta and the N. Georgia Mountains.
It can't be that much of as steal

I wonder what the miles are. I also wonder what the side not pictured looks like. When someone sells the bike and their riding gear they are getting out of the game. Wonder if they had a bad experience at some point and that leads to the sale.

Doesn't know to list it as an FJR.
Doesn't know to mention it is the ES model.
My local dealer has a new FJR1300A on the floor asking under $15k. In the Southeast $14,500 is not yet in "steal" range.

Listing says 270 miles. More pictures required. I have inquired. We'll see. 2015 ES to 2020 ES. I could live with that. 20 miles from me.

Re: Steal of a deal for someone 2020, $14500
A NEW bike is going to get hit with dealer prep, assembly and around 1k in fees.
A used bike will not have that in add ons.
Your 15 k bike is over 16 otd
ALSO it Is OBO
SO probably easily 14 or under.
66 days on market, if it had shown on my search, i probably would have grabbed it
Just here to show my ass --------->>>>>>>>

I’d be more than happy to swear under oath that having watched you ride for many, many miles, there is no way in hell you could be speeding through those curves. -0face

I would be very surprised if a side is trashed, for that kind of money. I'd also be surprised that the dealer wouldn't mention that. I'm betting it's fine. I guess we'll see.

Perhaps the seller is having COVID-19 induced financial troubles; or, a case of a husband misinterpreting what his wife meant when she said, “Do whatever the fu€k you want to do.”

Re: Steal of a deal for someone 2020, $14500
Oh. Haha. I hadn't paid attention. I did notice he updated it to an FJR1300 and added ES to the posting. That left mirror doesn't seem trashed, which is pretty much a given in any slide. That is weird that he only shows one side of the bike.Toter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 7:25 amPrivate seller, not a dealer.HotRodZilla wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 8:49 pmI would be very surprised if a side is trashed, for that kind of money. I'm betting ionbeam is close to the truth. Lord knows I had a few "Holy f@$king Jesus" moments during the first month or so of FJR ownership. Can truthfully say I was terrified of the thing a few times when my mortality was shoved in my face.
Wouldn't surprise me if Joe Rocket realized this isn't a Harley or Indian, and decided to get it out of the garage immediately.

Re: Steal of a deal for someone 2020, $14500
Then why no contact or attempt to sell? Yet another opinion, but the seller has 2 sets of gear. He may have scared SWMBO or pissed her off and she has directed him to sell "that thing." Technically, he is "trying really hard" to sell it, but "with the current economic downturn nobody is buying." Haha. Maybe!Uncle Hud wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:04 pm I'm betting ionbeam is close to the truth. Lord knows I had a few "Holy f@$king Jesus" moments during the first month or so of FJR ownership.
