I'm kind of hoping that my next bike will be a "fly-n-ride" for this reason. Not sure when that will happen, but I'd like to experience what Jasen describes.
I managed to find one fly n ride myself. I had a whole adventure planned to get home from KC to Dallas. Was going to spend a few days coming through Missouri and Arkansas. My plans went in the trash the day of my flight due to terrible storms in the area. I opted to just run it home by cutting west and then south trying to get around it. Came through OKC missing softball sized hail by 10 minutes according to the news and the ice all over the road. It was certainly an adventure, just not the one I'd planned.
My FJR purchase was almost an epic fly n buy from Seattle, but the bike sold earlier in the day before I got a hold of the seller. Ended up finding a killer deal 10 miles from the house.
I'm still hoping for that fly n buy though, one day.

I'm here to serve as an example of what NOT to do.
Several listed for that price on Cycletrader, though all seem to be from the same dealership - Hall's Motorsports at their various locations throughout the southeast. And the ads say make offer. Depending on what fees they are charging, not sure this is a smoking good deal. Not bad, but not great. Patience is a virtue my son........
Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

I purchased it from Halls. (I saw that ad)
Last one they had.
It is located on the gulf coast store.
They will bring it to the store 10 minutes from me.
No charge.
Not a smokin deal,
But good enough.
Probably no better than D&H in 2018
But still better than the leftover 16 Dan found

I think most of us fall into that category when we finally decide to pull the trigger on a bike. Hard to be patient.
Enjoy the new ride Fencer! You're going to LOVE the cruise.
And don't throw it through the back of the garage when you heft it on the centerstand for the first time. These go up easier.

The specs i saw in the 2018 said the ES had the center stand and the A didn't

Yamaha still has the 2018 A listed on the website.
The gallery pictures looks like the A has a center stand.
No idea. Maybe dropping it was a way to meet a price point?
