Okay boys, I hear ya. We have started her up and rolled down the block. Everything held together. I put it back in the garage after I got the heat cycle and oil circulated. But I also had to go to work today.

In meetings about planning how to do remote learning when we come back to school.

I am changing the oil again to make sure it is clear. Damn, I Will have done 4 oil changes in the last week.

But do change the filter, that's where all the *Bad Stuff* ends up. The plates gave up very fine particles, there are no chunks to end up in *Bad Places* like plain bearings.

No need to find things that are wrong with your replacements and workmanship, just confirm that it is all right. ;)

Over cautious trying to purge anything in there. Makes sense about just changing the filter, but I think I have learned my lesson regarding half-assing my maintenance. First the brakes and now this.........kinda making a name for myself really. Lol.

False. The 04 might have been power wheelied more than once.

As for oil transport, not gonna happen. Not enough room on the bike, remember I am bringing the Spawn

So, as a matter of fact I just returned from the shakedown run. Multiple runs made

Rode nice and easy out of the subdivision. Made a couple loops to warm up the engine.

Headed south out of town. Ran it up to 60 through the gears

Slowed and Shifted down. Ran it hard up from third to 80. Pulled the clutch in. Seemed good

Went back to 4th gear. Did the runs both in 4th and 5th up to 100+ at full throttle

Pulled into a driveway to let everything settle. Went down to 1st and made a few POWER runs up to FJR nominal. Maybe close to 130. Seemed to hold together real well. No weirdness at all. Only noticed that the clutch pull felt stiffer and firm. Kinda like a new clutch feel—- captain obvious.

Maybe will swap the filter out.

Gotta say thanks to everyone who chipped in and offered help. Couldn’t have done it without you.

If you just changed the filter with new oil, you're good to go. Test of the slippy clutch should be in a higher gear and under load, WOT. But, if you didn't notice anything (and I would not expect you would, 'cuz it's new), get packed up for Red Lodge, of course, reminding Spawn she's gotta take better notes this time and complete an assignment fer once.
