No, please don't put Cav47 there. I don't wish that on anyone. This thread needs to end on a good note. We need to see Cav47 and Spawn at Red Lodge, there've been enough cancellations already.

Just left Indy. Dreyer Motorsport was super helpful. I picked up the plate furthest back in the clutch. They also put me on to a dealership in Michigan that had the last 3 that I needed. Should have everything tomorrow. Shipping has been brutal at 35 and 56 dollars for the 2 separate ones. Add that onto the drive over to Indy and it prob added $150 to the cost of the clutch fix. But as Wayne said a min ago, still WAY cheaper than a service at the dealer.

I can’t say enough about the board help offered. If this trip gets done, it will be because if the people here.

My son is driving home now. So the plan is to go home, clean everything up. Get the parts back in that I can. Wait for the remaining ones tomorrow. Prep them up.

Stay tuned.

Edited.

Well, we can safely start with the assumption that it was due to operator error(s).....
My opinion is that the sticking clutch lever allowed the clutch to slip, build heat, and premature wear.

Bad bushing has that clutch partially engaged and it burned it. My guess only.

Otherwise, looks like josh is in good hands.

Isn't #4 part of the (activation piston that runs horizontally out of the master cyl? Unless they are the same part but not called out in the lever assembly, it looks like they don't call that bush out specifically. I would be tempted to take the good one in (from the other lever) and compare it to what a multi-brand shop has in stock.

I phrased it that way because I don't know so formed it as a question.
The #4 part is the little brass (or bronze) bushing in the clutch lever that pushes the plunger to activate the clutch. The brake side doesn't have one. (or am I not understanding your question?).
