Hello from Missouri

Post by zzzzip »

I managed to wander over here from another forum a few weeks ago. I mostly look and learn rather than post (talk). I find my friends seem happier when I am learning....

anyway...

Question: I fail to see a "for sale" section. Of course I fail to see a lot of stuff, so I gotta ask: is there one?

I posted up some luggage hole covers, mesh pants and a rain suit for a friend who has quit riding permanently due to totaling his bike, on the other forum. I failed to remember the forum rule about 3 items not all in one thread, and was immediately informed I can't post for a month. I have some other stuff like factory FJR bag liners, and while I can throw them on ADV rider, etc. I prefer to FJR forums.

Of course some forums have a minimum post number before selling stuff, and I can understand and agree with that.

I planned on posting here too, but I don't want to sit in the corner again....

Thanks guys.

Hey Skip Welcome to the other forum.

What ? you got a time out? What is the world coming to eh?

Yes there is a "FOR SALE " section....actually two (one bikes and then everything else) I think once you have joined you should be able to see it.... or it could be after and few posts.

Hey Tom!!! Glad you are still kicking.

I thought I looked it over closely, but that might explain it. Sorry I screwed up over there, but after all these years with them, and no awshits, I guess it was bound to happen. So now I get to expand my horizons.

Well, now it looks like I have really screwed the pooch-- I tried to log on as zzzzip (failing to note all I had to do was reactivate my old account) and could not a few weeks ago, so I created a new account as skipn809 while using my ipad. This could get confusing if I'm not careful.

Please don't ban me, or give me a time out.... just kill one of us off if necessary. Most everybody knows me as zzzzip on the forums, and I don't use the ipad much anyway. I just changed my user id and password on the ipad, so skipn809 is history.

I can wipe out the "skipn809" account if you are going to stick with the zzzzip ID.

Ah ha......! "Jackassery'' A place made for me; I feel so special. I think I will be right at home here.

And yes please Wayne, delete, snuff, neutralize skipn809, or what ever. I don't plan to use that aka.

Hey Cougar, long time no type. Glad to see you are still eluding prison. Marty fixed my GPS problems at Hooterville, while speaking highly of his friend on the "other" forum. And such a shy guy, he is.

FWIW-- I went back and deleted 2 of the threads and put them on ADV rider. Riding clothes usually go better there anyway. Plus since I am a seriously honest, sensitive and straight-up sort of guy, it made me feel better.

I remember you. One of the good riders remarked you are a pretty good rider in spite of you being old and ugly.... birds of a feather....

I recall you offered to help one of the guys out with a tire problem. Good on you.

As long as it's paved, we are golden. I suck at "gravel" as big as pumpkins. Actually, some will tell you I suck on pretty much any surface....... guilty, as charged.

Regret I didn't at least get to trow a leg over your Triumph. I'm glad the guys at CFO were so open to us radical riders joining in. Really missed having an FJR for the ride.
