I don't believe so (from memory). I think it goes inside the frame.

Inside, lesson learned never pull it out. Fish it back in, bottom end goes into a little loop on the plastic inner rear fender directly behind the airbox.

I did put it back inside the frame, but it seems a lot tighter than when it came out. Don't want to have a kink in the vent hose. Not a good thing as I've learned lately, so I'll take another look at the routing.
